YouTube Channel Controller

Position overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage YouTube Channels and develop daily, weekly, monthly, and annual content schedules.
• Coordinate content preparation and review every video for accuracy, quality, branding, sound, subtitles, and presentation.
• Publish long-form videos, Shorts, interviews, podcasts, training, testimonials, events, and promotions.
• Write titles, descriptions, chapters, hashtags, and calls-to-action and coordinate high-quality thumbnails.
• Optimize videos for search, organize playlists and series, and repurpose long-form content.
• Manage comments, community engagement, inquiries, and qualified leads.
• Direct viewers to relevant programs and coordinate leads with sales.
• Support advertising and monitor copyright, restrictions, warnings, security, and compliance.
• Analyze competitors, trends, audience behavior, and high-performing content.
• Use AI tools for content development and prepare weekly and monthly reports.

Key performance indicators (KPIs)

Performance focuses on audience quality, knowledge impact, lead generation, and sustainable growth rather than views alone.

• Number, quality, and on-time publication of videos.
• Qualified views, watch time, view duration, audience retention, and click-through rate.
• Subscriber growth, returning viewers, engagement, Shorts, search, and recommendation traffic.
• Qualified inquiries, leads, customer conversion, and measurable business results.
• Channel compliance, copyright performance, and accurate and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, certificate, or demonstrated capability in Digital Marketing, Media, Communication, Marketing, Film, Business, or a related field.
• Practical YouTube Channel management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of YouTube Studio, Analytics, Shorts, playlists, Community features, SEO, and optimization.
• Basic video editing and graphic design are advantageous.
• Understanding of digital marketing and lead generation.
• Strong Khmer title, description, and promotional writing; English is an advantage.
• Ability to use AI tools and understand copyright, ownership, and platform policies.
