Cambodian Women Entrepreneurs: The Backbone of a Strong Nation

Seminar: “Khmer Must Be Strong”

Morning of February 7, 2026 | Khemaravidu Building, Royal Academy of Cambodia

On the morning of February 7, 2026, at the Khemaravithou Building of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, an inspiring seminar was held under the powerful theme: “Khmer Must Be Strong.”

The session was led by Mrs Chan Pheary, President of the Cambodian Women Entrepreneurs Association, who delivered a message that every business owner—especially every woman entrepreneur—should carry as a mission:

“Women entrepreneurs are the backbone of the national economy.”

That statement is not simply motivational. It is a national reality.

Women Entrepreneurs Are Not “Supporting” the Economy—They Are Driving It

In Cambodia, women entrepreneurs represent approximately 60% of all entrepreneurs. This means that behind many successful businesses—markets, shops, online stores, services, and growing enterprises—there is a Cambodian woman leading with courage, responsibility, and resilience.

And when women rise, families rise. Communities rise. The nation rises.

Success in Business Begins with Strength at Home

Mrs Chan Pheary also shared a deep truth that speaks directly to long-term success:

“To become a successful woman entrepreneur, you must begin with success within your family.”

Because real leadership is not only measured by profit.

Real leadership is measured by balance, discipline, values, and the ability to build a strong life while building a strong business.

When the family foundation is stable, the entrepreneur becomes stronger.

When the entrepreneur is stronger, the business grows faster.

And when businesses grow, Cambodia grows.

Strong Women Entrepreneurs = Strong National Economy

The message is clear and unforgettable:

“Strong women entrepreneurs, strong national economy.”

This is not just a slogan. It is a roadmap for national development.

But strength does not come from motivation alone.

Strength comes from learning, training, systems, mentorship, networks, and leadership practice.

If You Want to Grow, Don’t Grow Alone

Today, small business owners face many challenges: competition, cash flow, leadership pressure, marketing changes, hiring problems, and unpredictable markets. Many entrepreneurs work hard every day—yet still feel stuck.

That is why serious entrepreneurs choose to grow with a community.

CEO Master Club exists for one reason:

To help business owners in Cambodia become stronger—personally and professionally—through membership, business training, practical leadership development, and a powerful network of growth-minded entrepreneurs.

If Cambodia must be strong, then Cambodian entrepreneurs must be strong.

And if entrepreneurs must be strong, then they must keep learning.

Now is the time to rise.

Now is the time to lead.

Now is the time to build a stronger business—and a stronger life—together with CEO Master Club.
